At BR Design we understand that protection of mission critical or high value equipment requires an out of the box thinking approach. Although traditional fire suppression methods such as water are very effective in extinguishing a fire, they do not offer protection to the equipment they protect from damage upon discharge. As well they pose a potential false trip risk that could result in equipment damage in a non-emergency situation causing undesired costly downtimes. BR Design will work with clients to evaluate the assess to be protected and provide guidance on the best type of Special Hazards Detection system that will complement the installation of their Special Hazards Suppression system by a mechanical contractor.
